Learner workshops

Sessions timed to the school year

Each workshop runs for 90 minutes, about 45 minutes of mindset coaching and 45 minutes of guided maths practice, and is adapted to the grade and the time of year.

Grade 12 · before exams

Beating Exam Anxiety

Steps 4, 6 and 7 in practice: calming techniques, positive self-talk and mental rehearsal before the NSC finals. Follow up with Beat Exam Anxiety in 7 Days.

Grade 9 · subject choice

Choosing Maths with Confidence

Helps learners decide between Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy based on goals, not fear. Pairs with the online course Maths or Maths Lit?

Grades 8–11 · start of year

The Growth Mindset Kick-off

An introduction to all eight steps, with each learner setting a SMART goal for the year.

Parent evenings

Helping parents help at home

Many parents carry their own maths anxiety and pass it on without meaning to. This evening session gives them simple, practical ways to support their children.
